Bold Together with OL Reign

If someone would’ve told me, way back in 2017, that I would be cutting the hair of two Queer soccer players in my unfinished garage, I would’ve laughed in your face. It all started when Kyllian Perrin came in for a haircut. He was wearing an OL Reign track suit. After the usual intros and hair consultation, I asked him what he does for work.“I’m team admin for The Reign.” NBD right? He loved his haircut and headed off to practice.

Quinn noticed the cut and Kyllian directed them my way. Weeks later, Tziarra (Zee) King reached out to me on IG about a cut. I’d be lying if I said I wasn’t nervous for each of those first cuts. These athletes are more than just athletes. They are the catalysts for young Queer kids who want to play sports and aren’t sure where they fit. And I don’t take their business or time for granted. As for Kyllian, he is one of my biggest fans and he’s become my friend. And that’s what this shop is all about. We’re so stoked to be recognized in the Bold Together campaign.
